Wonderful fluro red portable typewriter made for the British stationery firm W H Smith during the 1980's. These came in grey, blue and the red colour with the early ones being made in Japan and the later ones coming from Korea. This one was made in Korea. It has light grey keys and the WH SMITH logo on the front at the left side and the words " RED FOX " in the middle and has the standard "elite " sized type face giving you 12 letters to the inch.
This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order, types well and is fitted with a new top quality American made Group 9 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on.
We can supply Group 9 TW1 typewriter ribbons from £6.95 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and a range of Universal ribbons in other colour options.
The typewriter is in a very good general condition with just a few very small marks to the hard plastic body. It comes with a matching red plastic case which fits on over the top of the typewriter. It is also in a good functional condition with just a few marks and some quite large discolouration on the top. The handle and clips work well.
This Red Fox measures 30 cm x 30 cm and is 7 cm high. We also include a copy of an instruction manual. This is a fabulous retro working typewriter in a great colour and is already to just take out of the box and start typing on.
