Shipping

For all our typewriters, we use double walled cardboard boxes with plenty of shredded cardboard tightly packed around them so they do not move in transit. As a business we aim to be as sustainably conscious as we can, therefore our packaging (internal & external) uses 95% biodegradable materials to ensure these resources can be used afterwards as mulch in your garden or animal bedding for example or at least reused/ eco-degradable in some format.

 

We aim to ship your order within 24 hours and for you to receive it within 1-3 working days.We use the registered Parcel Force or UPS service and all shipping within the UK is free ( £19 for Typewriters to the Channel Islands) . There are no additional fees for shipping and the price you see on our items is the total price you pay. Once your order has been dispatched you will be sent an email confirmation with shipping details.

 

SHIPPING TO EUROPE

For selected European countries we charge £10.50 (tracked) for smaller items such as typewriter ribbons & accessories and £19 ( tracked) for typewriters. We aim to ship your order within 24 hours and for you to receive it within 2 to 6 working days. Since the 1st July 2021 and the Brexit changes our understanding is that all orders up to €150 will be liable for just VAT and orders with a value over €150 will be liable for both import VAT and customs duties. These charges will be collected by the courier and can differ in amounts depending on the country you reside in. Please note we cannot be held responsible for any delays in clearing customs or for any taxes or duty charges.

For additional countries such as Turkey, Malta, Gibraltar, Iceland & the Isle of Man, we charge £10.50 (tracked) for smaller items such as typewriter ribbons & accessories and £65 (tracked)for typewriters. We aim to ship your order within 24 hours and for you to receive it within 3-6 working days. Please note we cannot be held responsible for any delays in clearing customs or for any taxes or duty charges.

 

SHIPPING TO NORTH AMERICA

Please note that we are currently not able to ship anything to the US as from 29th August ALL shipments into the USA will incur duties and/or flat customs fees. The $800 threshold will no longer be in operation and it is currently unclear how the system will work and what the exact charges will be.

For Canada and the USA we charge £13.95 (tracked) for smaller items such as typewriter ribbons & accessories and £65 f(tracked) or typewriters. We aim to ship your order within 24 hours and for you to receive it within 3-6 working days. SHIPPING TO ASIA & AUSTRALASIA

For Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea we charge £12.00 (tracked) for smaller items such as typewriter ribbons & accessories and £145 (tracked) for typewriters. We aim to ship your order within 24 hours and for you to receive it within 5-8 working days. SHIPPING TO THE MIDDLE EAST

For Israel, Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Kuwait and United Arab Emirates we charge £11.95 (tracked) for smaller items such as typewriter ribbons & accessories and £145 (tracked) for typewriters. We aim to ship your order within 24 hours and for you to receive it within 3-4 working days (for typewriters sent UPS) and 5-7 working days for ribbons & accessories. Please note we cannot be held responsible for any delays in clearing customs or for any taxes or duty charges.
