Lovely mid grey portable typewriter made for the British stationery firm W H Smith in Japan during the 1980's. These came in grey, blue and the red colour with the early ones being made in Japan and the later ones as this model is coming from Korea. It has black coloured keys and the WHSMITH logo on the front at the left side and the words " GREY FOX " in the middle and has the standard " elite " sized typeface giving you 12 letters to the inch.
This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order, types well and is fitted with a new top quality American made Group 9 TW1 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on.

The typewriter is in a very good general condition with just a few very small marks to the plastic body mainly on the ribbon cover. It comes with a matching grey plastic case which fits on over the top of the typewriter. It is also in a good condition with just a few small marks and some slight discolouration in places. The handle and clips work well.
This Grey Fox measures 30 cm x 30 cm and is 7 cm high. We also include a copy of the instruction booklet. This is a lovely working typewriter and is all ready to just take out of the box and start typing on.
