Underwood Deluxe Portable

 This is a wonderful 1956 Underwood Deluxe Quiet Tab portable typewriter in good working order and a fabulous condition. Underwood was based in New York and made a wide variety of typewriters up until the early 1960's when Underwood was taken over by Olivetti. 

This one  is in a stunning condition for its age with a two tone grey and light teal green colour to its metal body with just a few very minor marks .It has the Underwood logo badge to the front right and a " Deluxe " badge on the carriage , both in gold. The keys are also on a light teal colour with matching carriage knobs and it has the Underwood manufactures detail to the back.

This Underwood portable comes with a case which is in a good overall condition with the wooden case sound and only some marks and general signs of wear to the covering as you would expect of something of this vintage .The handle and clip to close the case works well .

The size of the typewriter is  29 cms wide by 30 cms deep and is 12 cms high .

This is a fabulous and very collectable 1950's working typewriter in a lovely condition and very collectable colour and with a service and new ribbon is all ready to start typing on again . It also comes with a photocopy of an original instruction booklet for Underwood De Luxe Portables which will provide valuable help for changing the ribbon and give you other typewriting tips .
