This model P Royal portable was made in the US in 1927 and is in a wonderful and rare bergundy colour with the "Alligator" finish. This Royal typewriter has glass topped keys in the classic off white colour and it has the slightly larger pica type face size so types with 10 letters or characters to the inch.
It has the Royal logo on the carriage, on the front left as well as the Royal logo and manufacturers details on the back. The original bergundy enamel paint finish has some small marks and signs of wear and discolouration, mainly on the top side edges.
Its a very nice compact size being 27 cm wide x 28 cm deep x 11 cm high.
This typewriter has been professionally serviced, cleaned, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and fitted with a new top quality American made plain black ribbon on metal spools so its all ready for you to start typing on.
We can supply new typewriter ribbons from £7.95 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and a range of universal ribbons in other colour options. You can either rewind the new ribbon onto the metal spools currently in the typewriter or drop in the new Group 9 spools and ribbon.
