A lovely two tone creme coloured Olympia Splendid 33 typewriter with wonderful and rarer dark bergundy coloured keys, space bar and carriage knobs. Olympia was a German brand of typewriter that was known for their great quality and this one was made in West Germany in 1962 for the UK market. It has the Olympia logo on the front as well as the original selling agents details and the Made in West Germany and London agents details on the back. This one has the standard Olympia elite sized type face giving you 11 letters to the inch.
It is in full working order and we have given it a professional clean, service, adjusted and tested it as well as fitting a new top quality American made ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on. Please note you can only use a plain colour ribbon on the typewriter. You can't use a two colour ribbon.
Universal plain typewriter ribbons can be purchased from us when required. They cost from £7.95 including postage and are available in plain black and a range of other plain colour options.
It is in a very good general condition for its age with just a few small marks to the body.
It comes with it's original carry case lid which is functional with the handle and the main metal closure working well. The case has small signs of wear and marks on both the inside and the outside.
The typewriter measures 29 cm by 28 cm by 7 cm high, making it a very compact portable model.
