A lovely Olivetti Studio 44 working typewriter in a nice condition and made in Italy in 1965. It has the more unusual for this model an all metal body in a pale taupe colour. There is the Olivetti Studio 44 badge on the front and dark grey keys with a dark red tab key. This one has the standard elite sized type face giving you 11 letters to the inch.
This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and fitted with a new top quality American made Universal ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on.

We can supply Universal typewriter ribbons when required from £7.95 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and a range of other colour options. You can then put the Universal spools into the machine or rewind the new ribbon onto the Olivetti metal spools that are fitted now.
There are a few minor marks, mainly at the sides of the ribbon cover and on the left hand side low down, but generally this Studio 44 is in a very good overall condition. It comes with a Olivetti branded dust cover as well as a dark red carry case which has a handle and a clip to close as. The case does have some minor marks and scratches and age related wear, but generally is also in a very good functional condition. The Studio 44 model is large and fairly heavy for a portable and would perhaps be classed better as something between a portable and desk model. It measures 30 cm across at the front by 38 cm deep by 13 cm high.
If you are after something to carry around this would probably not be the best option, but if you are after a solid and well made typewriter with a great reputation then this is one to certainly consider. A perfect model for larger typing projects.
