Lovely portable Silver Reed typewriter in full working order transformed by us into a multi coloured machine with mid blue, sky blue, grey and yellow metal body and black keys and trim to create a bit of a one off. Perhaps not for the purist but it will surely bring a smile to someone.
This one was made in Japan in the 1970's by Silver Seiko and types very well. It has the more standard smaller sized "Elite " typeface giving you 12 letters to the inch.
This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and is fitted with a new top quality American made Group 9 TW1 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on.
We can supply Group 9 TW1 typewriter ribbons from £7.95 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and a range of other coloured Universal ribbons.
The typewriter is in a good overall condition with a few very small marks to the metal body mainly on the bottom edges.
There is no carry case lid with this one.
We include a photo copy of an original instruction booklet.
This Silver Reed measures 28 cm x 30 cm and is 8 cm high. This is a nice retro working typewriter in a one off colour combination and is already to just take out of the box and start typing on.
