A lovely two tone "winter white" and dark grey coloured Olympia SM7 De Luxe typewriter with off white keys, space bar and mint green shift keys and carriage knobs. Olympia was a German brand of typewriter that was known for their great quality and ease of use and this one was made in West Germany in 1963. It has the Olympia logo on the front and the keyset tabulator at the front by the space bar. It types very nicely and has the slightly larger Olympia pica sized type face giving you 10 letters to the inch. It also has an number of accented keys, German Umlaut keys and the double S "section" key.
The typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and is fitted with a new top quality American made black ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on.

This model has a metal casing and the whole front section lifts up to access the ribbon. The SM portables have a reputation as being "the writers " typewriter and this one certainly types very nicely. It does have a few very minor marks mainly on the top of the ribbon cover but it is generally in a very good condition.
It measures 30 cm by 32 cm by 14 cm high and although classed as a portable is quite heavy. If you are wanting something to carry around a fair bit this may not be the best option, but if you are after a good solid and well made typer this is certainly one to consider.
There is no carry case with this one.
