A wonderful olive green coloured Olympia SM3 typewriter with dark green keys and space bar and carriage knobs and silver chrome trim. Olympia was a German brand of typewriter that was known for their great quality and ease of use and this one and was made in West Germany in 1959. It has the Olympia logo on the front and the manufactures details on the back. This one has the standard Olympia elite sized type face giving you 11 letters to the inch in a very attractive and more uncommon Congress font. It's in a very nice condition with just a few small marks on the carriage.
This typewriter has been professionally serviced, cleaned, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and fitted with a new top quality American made Universal ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on.
We can supply Universal typewriter ribbons from £7.95 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and a range of other colour options. These can be dropped in or you can rewind the new ribbon onto the metal spools in the typewriter.
The typewriter measures 30 cm by 30 cm by 13 cm high and although classed as a portable this is quite a heavy machine and if you are after something to carry around this may not be the best option, but if you want something sturdy, robust and a nice typer then this is one to consider.
There is no carry case with this one.
This is an Olympia SM3 typewriter in a good cosmetic and working condition with a Congress type face. We also include a photo copy of an original instruction manual.
