Lovely portable Silver Reed Leader typewriter in full working order in a two tone black and light grey colour with black keys and black trim . This one was made in Japan in the 1970's by Silver Seiko and types well . It has the standard elite sized font giving you 12 letters to the inch.
This typewriter has been professionally cleaned ,serviced, adjusted and tested . It is in full working order and is fitted with a new Group 9 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on !
We can supply Group 9 typewriter ribbons from £4.95 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and a range of Universal ribbons in other colour options. A ribbon will last you a long time and to give you an idea , in an office environment with someone using a typewriter professionally a ribbon would last them around 3 months .
The typewriter types well and is in a good general condition with just a few small marks to the paintwork . It comes with a black plastic case which fits on over the top of the typewriter. It's in a good functional condition with just some minor marks and scratches mainly to the metal fittings .The handle and clips work well .
We also include a photo copy of an original instruction booklet .
This Silver Reed measures 28 cms x 30 cms and is 8 cms high .This is a nice retro working typewriter and is all ready to just take out of the box and start typing on .
