Lovely portable Silver Reed 250 model typewriter in full working order in a great retro orange colour with black keys and black trim with a pre set tabulator feature . This one was made in Japan in the 1970's by Silver Seiko and types very well .It has the more standard "elite" sized font giving you 12 letters to the inch.
This typewriter has been professionally cleaned ,serviced, adjusted and tested . It is in full working order and is fitted with a new Group 9 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on !
We can supply Group 9 typewriter ribbons at £4.95 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black, blue and purple. A ribbon will last you a long time and to give you an idea , in an office environment with someone using a typewriter professionally a ribbon would last them around 3 months .
The typewriter is in a very good general condition , with just some very small marks to the paintwork on the metal body mainly on the underneath . It comes with a black plastic case which fits on over the top of the typewriter. It is also in a good functional condition with just some minor marks and scratches .The handle and clips work well .
We also include a photo copy of an original instruction booklet .
This Silver Reed 250 measures 28 cms x 30 cms and is 8 cms high .This is a nice retro working typewriter in a very collectable colour and is already to just take out of the box and start typing on .
