A fabulous turquoise blue coloured Olympia Splendid 99 typewriter with light creme coloured keys , space bar and carriage knobs . Olympia was a German brand of typewriter that was known for their great quality and ease of use and this one was made in West Germany in 1960 .The 99 model differs from the 66 in just its trim .It has the Olympia logo on the front and the Made in West Germany details on the back .It is in a good condition with only a few marks and some small discolouration mainly at the corners at the back and some small marks at the back of the carriage by the paper rest opening. This one types with the standard Olympia " elite " type giving you 11 letters to the inch. We also include a copy of the instruction manual.
This typewriter has been professionally cleaned ,serviced, adjusted and tested . It is in full working order and is fitted with a new Group 1 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on .

This typewriter comes with its original carry case which zips around to close and has a handle. The case is in a functional condition with a sound handle and zip but does show signs of wear with some stains and marks mainly on the inside . Part of the zip pull is now missing but it does operate with the twine that has be fitted.The typewriter measures 29 cm by 28 cm by 7 cm high , making it a very compact portable model.
All in all this is a very nice Olympia Splendid 99 model in a rarer turquoise blue colour .
