A lovely two tone dark charcoal grey and white coloured 1975 Olympia Monica typewriter with charcoal grey keys , space bar and carriage trim .Olympia was a German brand of typewriter that was known for their great quality and ease of use . It has the Olympia logo on the front and has the standard "Elite " sized type giving you 11 letters to the inch . It types very nicely and has been professionally cleaned ,serviced, adjusted and tested . It is in full working order and is fitted with a new Group 1 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on .

This model has a metal casing and the whole front section lifts up to access the ribbon . The SM portables have a reputation as being "the writers " typewriter and this one certainly types very nicely .This Monica model is basically the same as an SM8 or SM9 but does not have a tabulator function or card guards .It does have a few very minor marks to the casing ,but it is generally in a very good condition . It measures 30 cm by 32 cm by 14 cm high .
It comes with a hard black vinyl carry case which is also in a very good condition. The closure and handle are both sound.
We include a copy of an instruction manual . All in all this is a good working Olympia in a lovely condition .
