A lovely two tone Olivetti Studio 44 working typewriter in a nice condition and made in Italy in the late 1950's. It has the usual all metal body in a seafoam green/blue colour with a pale mushroom coloured carriage, the Olivetti Studio 44 badge on the front and black keys with a dark red tab key. This one has the slightly larger "pica" sized typeface giving you 10 letters to the inch.
This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and fitted with a new Group 4 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on.
We also include a photo copy of an original product booklet.
We can supply Universal typewriter ribbons when required from £6.95 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and a range of other colour options.
There are a few minor marks to the enamel paintwork mainly low down at the side edges where it has rubbed on the carry case over the years, but generally this Studio 44 is in a very nice overall condition. It comes with a red carry case which has a handle and a clip to close. The case does have some minor marks and scratches, but generally is also in a good functional condition. The Studio 44 model is large and fairly heavy for a portable and would perhaps be classed better as something between a portable and desk model. It measures 30 cm across at the front by 38 cm deep by 13 cm high.
If you are after something to carry around this would probably not be the best option, but if you are after a solid and well made typewriter with a great reputation then this is one to certainly consider.
