The Olivetti Lettera 22 was designed in Italy in 1950 by Marcello Nizzoli and proved to be extremely popular throughout the 1950's winning numerous design awards.This is the Deluxe Lettera model which was made over just a few years from 1966 and is rarer as it did not have anything like the same production run as the 22 or 32 models.This one was made in Spain and is in a very stylish black leatherette with a silver trim, black keys and carriage knobs.It has the Olivetti Lettera DL logo on the right hand side of the ribbon cover.
It works and types very well with a nice easy touch.It has the standard "elite" font size giving you 11 letters to the inch.The typewriter is in a very good overall condition with only a few marks mainly on the ribbon cover.
This typewriter has been professionally serviced, cleaned, adjusted and tested.It is in full working order with a new fitted Group 4 black and red ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on.
We can supply Group 4 typewriter ribbons from £5.95 each.Available in plain black, red/ black and a range of Universal ribbons in other colour options.
There is no carry case with this one but we do also include a photo copy of an Olivetti instruction manual.
This is a nice working Lettera DL and with a service and new ribbon is already for you to take out of the box and start typing on.
