Lovely portable Silver Reed typewriter in full working order in a black colour with off white keys and black carriage knobs.This one was made in Japan in the 1970's by Silver Seiko and types very well.It has the standard "elite" sized font giving you 12 letters to the inch.
We have given it a clean, professional service, adjusted and tested it and fitted a new black ribbon.Please note that you can't use a two colour ribbon with this model, only plain colour ribbons.
Group 9 typewriter ribbons can be purchased from us when required from £5.95 including postage.We have plain black and Universal ribbons in a range of other plain colours.
The typewriter is in a good general condition with just a few small marks to the paintwork on the metal body mainly low down at the sides, at the left hand side of the ribbon cover and on the underneath.It comes with a black plastic case which fits on over the top of the typewriter.It is also in a good functional condition with just some minor marks and scratches.The handle and clips work well.We also include a photo copy of an original instruction booklet.
This Silver Reed measures 28 cm x 30 cm and is 8 cm high.This is a nice retro 70's working typewriter in a great colour and is already to just take out of the box and start typing on.
