Lovely Remington Travel-Riter Deluxe typewriter in a two tone grey colour with off white keys and space bar. It's in a good working condition and was made in Holland in the early 60's and is an all metal model .It has the Remington and Travel Riter logo's on the front .This one has the slightly larger "Pica" sized font giving you 10 letters to the inch.
This typewriter has been professionally cleaned ,serviced, adjusted and tested . It is in full working order and is fitted with a new Group 1 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on .
We can supply Group 1 typewriter ribbons from £4.95 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and a range of other colour options in a Universal ribbon. You just then need to rewind the new ribbon onto the existing small silver metal rings that are in the typewriter .A ribbon will last you a long time and to give you an idea , in an office environment with someone using a typewriter professionally a ribbon would last them around 3 months .
There are some minor marks to the body paintwork mainly on the left side of the ribbon cover from the carriage lever rubbing over the years.
It comes with a light grey coloured case that works well and clips shut and has a two handles and two zips . There are signs of wear , marks and discolouration to the case but it is functional .This machine was originally used at a typing school so it has the number 40 written on every panel of the case .
We also include a photo copy of an instruction booklet for this Remington Travel-riter model which shows all the features and shows you how to change the ribbon.
The typewriter measures 28 cms wide by 30 cms deep and is 12 cms high . This is a nice 1960's Remington working typewriter.
