This is a lovely sky blue coloured Remington Holiday typewriter with two tone coloured keys and in full working order .This one was most likely made in Holland in 1960's . It has the Remington and the Holiday logo's on the front and has the slightly larger "pica " sized font giving you 10 letters to the inch. Please note you can only use plain coloured ribbons on this model . You can't use two colour ribbons.
This typewriter has been professionally cleaned ,serviced, adjusted and tested . It is in full working order and is fitted with a new Group 1 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on !
We can supply Group 1 typewriter ribbons at £4.95 each including postage. Available in plain black, plain blue and plain purple. You just need to rewind the new ribbon onto the metal rings that are already in the typewriter . A ribbon will last you a long time and to give you an idea , in an office environment with someone using a typewriter professionally a ribbon would last them around 3 months .
There are a few very minor marks , discolouration and scratches to the hard plastic body and some small marks on the right hand end of the carriage , but it is generally in a very good condition . It comes with it's original hard light grey coloured plastic lid which clips down over the typewriter and provides you with a carry handle .
We also include a copy of an original instruction booklet.
The typewriter measures 30 cms by 32 cms by 10 cms.
This is a good working portable typewriter in a lovely condition and a great colour .
