This is a lovely two tone coffee and light creme coloured metal Imperial Mercury typewriter with creme coloured keys and space bar in full working order . It was made in the 1970's in Japan for Litton Industries . It has the standard "elite" font size giving you 12 letters to the inch.
This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced , adjusted and tested . It is fitted with a new Group 9 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on . It has the Imperial logo on the front and the Mercury logo on the carriage .
We can supply Group 9 typewriter ribbons from £4.95 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and a range of other colour options on Universal spools.
There are a few minor marks , mainly low down on the sides where the carry case lid has rubbed over the years ,but it is generally in a very good condition. It has a light coloured plastic case that attaches to the top of the typewriter and clips on at the front . The case is also in a very good condition with only a few marks .The handle and clips to close work well .
The typewriter measures 29 cm by 30 cm by 9 cm. We also include a copy of a manual .
This is a good working portable typewriter in a nice two tone colour .
