Lovely working Antares "Little Star" typewriter from the late 1950's or early 60's in a light beige colour with dark green keys, space bar and carriage knobs and red shift, backspace and margin release keys. It also has a red key which when you push will make any tangled typebars spring back into their rest position. Made in Milan in Italy, Antares was a small typewriter maker that started production in 1954 and ended production in Italy in the mid 1960's and had various combined projects with Olivetti. This one has the Antares logo on the top left and the the Made in Italy logo on the back and has the slightly larger "pica" typeface giving you 10 letters to the inch.
It types well and is in a good condition for its age with just a few marks to the paintwork on the metal body mainly at the front right right hand side of the ribbon cover and on the logo. It has had a professional service, been adjusted and tested and has a new top quality American made black ribbon fitted, so its all ready for you to type on.
