Typewriter, 1959 Smith Corona Clipper

This is a wonderful Smith Corona Clipper typewriter in a good working order and has a nice typing action. It was made in the Canada in 1959 and has an all metal body in a light pastel blue colour with off white keys and carriage knobs . It has the Smith Corona logo to the front and the Clipper logo on the carriage as well as a very attractive Pica sized font giving you 10 letters to the inch. There are some minor marks and discolouration to the paintwork mainly on the right side and at the back of the typewriter.

This typewriter has been professionally cleaned ,serviced, adjusted and tested . It is in full working order and is fitted with a new Group 9 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on . 

We can supply Group 9 typewriter ribbons from £4.95 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and in a range of other colours in a Universal ribbon. A ribbon will last you a long time and to give you an idea , in an office environment with someone using a typewriter professionally a ribbon would last them around 3 months . 

It comes with a smart wooden case with a covering on the outside . The typewriter locks in place for transit and it has a sound external catch and handle. The case is in a good functional condition with just some marks and wear to the chrome work on the hinges.

The typewriter measures 30 cms x 32 cms x 12 cms  .We also include a photo copy of an original instruction booklet.

This is a good working typewriter in a nice condition and colour with a classic Mad Men look which is highly collectable .
