Typewriter, Rare Pistachio Olivetti Lettera 22

The Olivetti Lettera 22 was designed in Italy in 1950 by Marcello Nizzoli and proved to be extremely popular throughout the 1950's winning numerous design awards. It was very portable for the time as it measures 30 cm x 30 cm x 8 cm high. This one has the usual all metal casing and is in a lovely and rare light pistachio green colour and was made in 1963 in Olivetti's Glasgow factory rather than in Italy, Spain or Mexico and has the silver Olivetti branding on the right side of the carriage and the Lettera 22 badge on the top of the ribbon cover. This one has a different colour to the carriage.

It types very well with a light touch. We have given it a professional service, clean, adjusted and tested it and fitted a new ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on.

We can supply Group 4 typewriter ribbons when required from £5.95 each including postage.Available in plain black, red/black and in a range of coloured options on Universal spools.

There are a few minor marks to the paintwork mainly at the right side of the ribbon cover and on the back.It also has a small part of the metal clip on one end of the ribbon cover missing but this does not effect the function of the ribbon cover at all. It comes with it's original carry case which has a two handles and two zips to close. The case does have some minor marks, scratches and some discolouration on both the inside and the outside and one of the two zips is worn, but it is functional as a carry case.

We also include a photo copy of a Lettera 22 instruction manual .

This is a good working Lettera 22 in a rare and very sought after colour.

Delivery anywhere within the UK is included in the price.
