This is a lovely 1958 portable Oliver Courier typewriter in a two tone green colour with green keys and red shift lock , backspace and margin release keys .This one also has the rarer Italic typeface .
Oliver typewriters were originally made in the US until the company went into liquidation in 1928 and it was bought by UK investors who started manufacturing in Croydon in England up until 1959.
This typewriter has been professionally cleaned ,serviced, adjusted and tested . It is in full working order and is fitted with a new Group 1 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on .

It has a few marks to the metal body and the ribbon cover has been re spray painted. It measures 28 cms by 28 cms and is 9 cms high and has the Oliver Courier logo on the front ( some wear to the O ).
The carry case is in a good functional condition with only some very minor marks and signs of wear to the handle and clip .The carrying handle and clip work well and we also include a photo copy of an original Oliver Courier manual .
This is a nice working British Oliver typewriter with its rare Italic font .
