Typewriter, 1965 Hermes Baby

This Hermes Baby typewriter was made in Switzerland in 1965 and is in a wonderful pale pastel green colour with mint green keys, space bar and carriage knobs. Hermes typewriters were designed and made in Switzerland by Paillard before production moved to France and then to Brazil. Hermes Baby models were originally the smallest typewriters on the market and enjoyed a loyal following. This is in full working order and types well. It has the slightly larger "pica" sized type face giving you 10 letters to the inch.

This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and is fitted with a new top quality American made Group 9 TW1 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on.

We can supply Group 9 and Universal typewriter ribbons from £6.95 each including postage. Available in plain black and a range of other colour options on Universal spools. You can drop the plastic spools into the machine or rewind the new ribbon onto the metal spools that are in the typewriter.

It is in a very good general condition with just some small marks to the paintwork mainly at the front corners. It has the Hermes Baby logo on the front left side and manufacturers details on the back.

It comes with a case in a matching colour which clips down over the typewriter providing you with a handle. The clips and handle work well. The case is in a good functional condition with just a few small marks and some general discolouration to the inside and outside. The typewriter measures 29 cm by 30 cm by 6.5 cm high.

If you want a smaller portable typewriter in a fabulous colour that doesn't take up too much desk space this is a great option. We include a photo copy of an original instruction booklet which shows the features and has many handy tips such as how to change the ribbon.

Delivery anywhere within the UK is included in the price.
