Lovely Remington 2000 typewriter in a two tone pale green and off white colour with off white keys and space bar. It's in a good working condition and was made in Holland in the 1960's and is an all metal model and basically the same model as a Remington Monarch. It has the Remington logo's on the front and this one has the slightly larger "Pica" sized type face giving you 10 letters to the inch.
This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is in full working order and is fitted with a new top quality American made Universal TW38 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on.
We can supply Universal typewriter ribbons from £6.95 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and a range of other colour options. You just then need to rewind the new ribbon onto the existing metal spools in the typewriter.
There are some minor marks to the body paintwork mainly on the left side of the ribbon cover from the carriage lever rubbing over the years.
It comes with a black coloured hard plastic case. There are signs of wear, marks and discolouration to the case, but the handle and closure mechanism work well.
We also include a photo copy of an instruction booklet for this a Remington Travel-riter model which is very similar and shows all the features and shows you how to change the ribbon.
The typewriter measures 28 cm wide by 30 cm deep and is 12 cm high. This is a nice 1960's Remington working typewriter in a nice colour.
