Imperial 220n

£0.00 GBP

This is a lovely two tone peacock blue and creme coloured Imperial typewriter made by Litton Industries in Japan in the 1970's.  It has light creme coloured keys and contrast trim with highlighted blue carriage knobs and space bar and has the Imperial logo on the front. It's in full working order and has the standard "Elite " sized type giving you 11 letters to the inch.

This typewriter has been professionally cleaned, serviced, adjusted and tested. It is fitted with a new top quality American made Group 9 TW1 ribbon so its all ready for you to start typing on.

We can supply Group 9 TW1 typewriter ribbons from £6.95 each including postage. Available in plain black, red/black and a range of other colour options.

There are some very minor marks on  this typewriter, some minor discolouration but generally it is in an extremely good condition. The typewriter comes with a hard plastic case that clips down on top of the typewriter and this is also in a peacock blue colour. The clips and handle work well and just some minor marks, scratches and discolouration in places.

The typewriter measures 30cm by 31 cm by 9 cm, so is a good compact size. We include a copy of an instruction manual .

This is a good working portable typewriter in a very nice two tone colour.

"My Olivetti arrived a couple days ago. Got a chance to test it out and it works like a dream (you wouldn’t guess it was nearly half a century old). Thank you for including the original metal spools, it adds a great touch to the machine. Looking forward to adding another typewriter to the collection sometime soon..." - Jake
